Nov. 27, 2013: Expanded the use of NEVs.
April 24, 2014: Revised and adopted the Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China.
In 2016: China has become the biggest renewable energy producer in the world.
In 2019: Fully implemented waste sorting.
February 2019: Built the world’s largest clean coal power supply system.
April 29, 2019: Held the International Horticultural Exhibition 2019 Beijing in Yanqing District of Beijing.
July 7, 2021: The giant panda was downgraded from endangered to vulnerable.
Sept. 10, 2021: The migrating Asian elephants in Yunnan Province traveled back to their habitats.
Oct. 12, 2021: Established the first five national parks (Sanjiangyuan National Park, Giant Panda National Park, Northeast China Tiger and Leopard National Park, Hainan Tropical Rainforest National Park, and Wuyi Mountain National Park).
April 18, 2022: Established the China National Botanical Garden.
