The Press Conference on Lishui’s First Anniversary of Smart City Operation and the Launch of “Smart Lishui 2.0” App has recently been held at the Lishui Smart City Operation Command Center in Nanjing. Powered by new ideas and new technologies, Smart Lishui 2.0 further addresses users’ pain points through detailed service items in five additional segments. Since its smart city platform officially came into operation on November 22, 2019, Lishui has been empowering modern urban governance, livelihood services, and socioeconomic development with new and cutting-edge technologies like big data, cloud computing, and IoT. Integral to the “city brain”, these technologies have “breathed life into dormant data”, tending to the city with sensitivity and care.
A year later, a preliminary “new-type smart city”, supported by the “1 + 2 + 6 + N” framework, has taken shape in Lishui. The framework consists of the city brain with “one network and two hubs”, two apps (Smart Lishui and Lishui Public Services), a six-in-one system (a cloud, a center, a portal, a diagram, a network, a security system), and a number of smart apps. In particular, the Lishui Public Service Big Data Center has brought together 48 government departments and collected 610 million pieces of data, 224 GIS maps, and 11,000-odd sources of public security videos. More than 40 smart app systems, including Smart Transport, Digital Urban Governance, and Social Co-governance, have become operational. |
